#14 Make the Perfect Salsa
I have tried scads of salsas over the years, both at home and at a bevy of restaurants around the country. So much so, I consider myself to be quite the expert on salsa. Ok, maybe not an expert, but pretty darned picky about it. I will boycott a restaurant if their salsa is not up to par. Likewise, I will keep eating there if I love there salsa, but find the food to be mediocre (Chuy's).
Don't get me started on jarred salsas. Pace = hideous. Arriba = heaven in a bottle. I think part of my reason for keeping my Costco membership is because I can get half a gallon of Arriba for $7.
My quest to make the perfect salsa is starting this weekend. I was more than delighted to find a recipe in my inbox this morning after someone saw my list(thanks Courtney) and I am ready to test it out with a side of crackpot chicken tacos. Who's coming for dinner?
